Sauces - Seafood - Spooning Sauce

1 c. yogurt
1 hard-cooked egg, chopped
2 Tbsp. minced celery
1 Tbsp. and 1 tsp. mayonnaise
2 tsp. dill pickle relish
2 tsp. drained capers
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
salt and freshly ground pepper
to taste


In small bowl, mix all ingredients. Serve 1/4 cup of the sauce with each serving of crab cakes. Makes 4 servings.

1 cup mayonnaise 1 clove garlic, minced 1 teaspoon dry dried tarragon 1 hard cooked egg, finely chopped 1 teaspoon capers, drained and chopped 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped 1/2 teaspoon anchovy paste Mix all together Chill overnight, for flavors to meld. 1 c. chili sauce 1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel 1/4 tsp. salt 1 to 2 Tbsp. horseradish 2 Tbsp. lemon juice dash of hot pepper sauce Combine all ingredients and mix well. Serve with chilled cooked shrimp and crab, crab cakes, fried clams and raw oysters. Store, covered, in refrigerator. Makes 1 cup.
