Sauces - Dessert Topping - Cranberries Amaretto

2 oz. butter
1 lb. cranberries
2 c. sugar
1 lemon, grated peel and juice
2 tbsp. orange marmalade
1/3 c. Amaretto liqueur

Spray saucepan with nonstick cooking spray. Melt butter, add cranberries, sugar and lemon juice. Cook cranberries until tender. Remove from heat. Add lemon peel, marmalade and liqueur to mixture. Stir. Keeps in refrigerator for several months. Serve hot or cold with pork or turkey. Or serve as a salad on lettuce with sour cream. Great with ice cream.

1 can sweetened condensed milk Pierce the top of the can with a bottle opener and remove paper from can. Cover top of can tightly with aluminum foil. Place in a sauce pan, submerge in water to 1" from the top. Boil over med-low heat for 4 hours. Open lid of can and place contents in a bowl. Excellent for dipping apples, pears, crackers and for spreading of bread and great on ice cream!

4 Tablespoons butter 4 Tablespoons flour 2 cups hot water 2 cups sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla extract In a medium saucepan melt the butter. Remove from heat and gradually add in the flour until you have a smooth texture. Slowly add the water and mix again until smooth. Add the sugar and bring the sauce to a rolling boil for at least several minutes until it thickens, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Serve warm over pound cake. Serves 6-8 This recipe can be halved or doubled when necessary. It should also be declared an illegal substance because
