Cakesandfrostings - Cake Cheese And Chocolate Tunnel Cake

1 (2 layer) chocolate cake mix with pudding
1/3 c butter
16 oz Cream cheese, softened
1/2 c sugar
2 eggs
2 tbs butter, melted
2 oz Semi sweet chocolate chips
2 tbs Corn syrup


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Prepare cake according to package directions, substituting butter for oil. Reserve 1 cup of batter. Pour remaining batter into a 12 cup greased and floured fluted tube pan.

Combine cream cheese and sugar, mixing well at medium speed on an electric mixer until well blended. Blend in eggs, one at a time. Pour over batter in the pan. Spoon reserved batter over cream cheese mixture.

Bake one hour or until cake test done. Cool 30 minutes; remove from pan to wire rack. Combine butter chocolate chips and corn syrup in a small saucepan. Cook over low heat until chocolate is melted. Pour over cake.

1 package white cake mix 1 (3 3/4 oz) pkg instant vanilla pudding mix 1/2 cup poppyseeds 1 cup vanilla yogurt 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1/2 cup sherry wine 4 large eggs In a large mixing bowl combine all the ingredients and blend on low. Increase to medium and beat for a couple minutes more to blend well. Spoon the batter into a greased and floured 12 cup tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until the cake is golden brown on top and test done. This freezes well.
