Bread - Bread Garlic By Abba

2 Cups Mayonnaise (no substitutions)
4 Cloves Fresh Garlic
Parmesan Cheese -- To Taste
Paprika -- To Taste
1 Loaf French Bread -- Cut In Half Lengthwise

Put mayonnaise into container with a tight fitting lid. Squeeze garlic through a garlic press into mayonaise.

Mix well.

Put lid on container & put into refrigerator for 3 hours.

Preheat oven to 400.

Cut French bread in half lengthwise. Spread mayonnaise mixture on cut sides of bread.

Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and paprika.

Place bread on cookie sheet and bake for about 15 minutes or until golden and bubbly.

Cut bread into serving pieces.

2 1/4 tsp yeast 3 c bread flour 4 tbsp sugar 2 eggs, room temperature 6 tbsp oil 1 1/2 tsp salt 3/4 c warm water, 105 to 115 degree Place ingredients in machine in order given. Settings - white bread. NOTES: In place of bread flour, I use all purpose and add 1 tbsp wheat gluten.

Bread - Bread Garlic Bubble Loaf
1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted 1 Tbsp. dried parsley 1 tsp. garlic powder 1/4 tsp. garlic salt 1 loaf (1 lb.) frozen white bread dough, thawed* In a bowl, combine butter, parsley, garlic powder and garlic salt. Cut dough into 1" pieces; dip into butter mixture. Layer in 9x5x3 loaf pan. Cover and let rise until doubled in size (about 1 hour). Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 1 loaf. Note: You can substitute canned biscuits. You don't have to wait for them to raise.
