Vegetarian - Spicy Tofu With Green Peas

16 oz. extra-firm low-fat tofu -- cut -- in 1/2" cubes
1/4 cup fresh or frozen green peas
4 cloves garlic -- minced
1 green onion -- chopped

Sauce:
1/2 cup cold water
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. chile paste
1 tsp. Mrs Dash® seasoning -- garlic -- pref.


To make the sauce, combine the cornstarch and water in a small bowl. Add the remaining sauce ingredients and mix well. Set aside.

Lightly coat a nonstick wok or frying pan with cooking spray and place over medium heat. Add the garlic and saute until it begins to brown. Add the tofu and cook for 1-2 minues. Raise the heat to medium-high, add the green peas and sauce, and bring to a boil. Cook another 2 minutes or until the sauce thickens.

Garnish with green onion and serve.
