Vegetarian - Oatmeal Burgers
2 eggs1 cup rolled oats
canned milk
1 medium onion, minced
salt, to taste
sage, to taste
shortening for browning
1 (10-3/4 oz.)can cream of mushroom soup
Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Beat eggs and combine all other ingredients with them, using enough milk to make mixture drop from spoon to form small patties.
Brown on both sides in hot shortening. Cover with cream of mushroom soup and simmer from 45 minutes to 1 hour in 300' oven.
