Vegetables - Vidalia Onion Salad

Vidalia Onion Salad

4 Vidalia onions -- thinly sliced
2 Tablespoons sugar
3/4 Cup salad oil
1/4 Cup vinegar
1 Cup Feta cheese -- crumbled
1/8 Teaspoon pepper -- freshly ground
1/2 Teaspoon salt -- to taste


Mix all ingredients together.

Put into a 2-qt. covered dish and chill at least 24 hours, stirring occasionally. Adjust sugar to taste.

8 slices bacon, fried, reserve 2 tbl. grease2 medium vidalia onions, sliced thinly2 cups whole kernel corn, drained2 Tablespoons molassessalt and pepper to tastedash of soy sauceFry bacon, drain grease, reserving enough to saute.
