Vegetables - Tasty Tater Casserole

2 lb. pkg hash brown potatoes (thawed)
1/2 cup melted margarine
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
2 cups grated cheddar cheese

Topping:
2 cups corn flakes
1/2 cup melted butter


Preheat oven to 350° F.

Mix ingredients together and place in 9X12 baking dish.

Combine topping ingredients, spread evenly over casserole and bake at 350* with foil cover for 45-60 minutes.

Remove foil to brown top in last few minutes.
