Vegetables - Guacamole Salad

4-5 medium ripe avocados
1 (8 oz) pkg. cream cheese
1 slice onion, chopped very fine
1 medium tomato, chopped
juice of half a lemon
1-2 Tablespoons of picanta or salsa - hot
salt and pepper to taste


Blend until creamy and smooth.

1 (9 1/2 oz) pkg. Pepperidge Farm Frozen mini Puff Pastry shells 1 medium ripe avocado, peeled, pitted and cubed 1/3 cup mayo 1 Tbl. lime juice 1 and 1/4 tsp. minced garlic 3/4 tsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/3 cup canned green chilies, minced dash cayenne pepper or tabasco sauce cucumber or tomato, finely chopped for garnish Prepare pastry shells according to package directions. Coarsely mash avocado. Mix with mayonnaise, lime juice, garlic, chili powder, salt, green chilies, and cayenne Spoon avocado mixture into pastry shells, mounding high. Garnish with cucumber and tomato. Serve cold.
