2 lb. fresh green beans, washed and cut4 cups water
1 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. ham or bacon pieces
Put all ingredients in crockpot, cover and cook on low 10 to 12 hours (high 3-1/2 to 5 hours). Stir occasionally.
