24 cabbage heads (outer leaves removed and set aside)
3 red peppers, quartered
1 fresh horseradish, peeled and chopped
1/2 box Bay leaves
1 garlic head
1/4 box dry whole red peppers
52 oz. salt (not iodized)

Core cabbage and fill with salt. Place, core side up, in large crock. Layer cabbage and above ingredients alternately. When all has been placed in crock, cover with large outer leaves that have been set aside and fill crock with water. Place a heavy weight on top of cabbage; cover with a clean cloth. Should be ready in 40 days. Keep water clean by removing foam each day which will begin to form in about 10 days.

2 or 3 lb. hamburger 1 cup rice Minute® rice 1 can tomato soup or paste 1 large or small head cabbage (depending) 2 onions, chopped finely Preheat oven to 350° F.Brown hamburger and onions in frying pan. Meanwhile, cook rice as directed and set aside. Boil cabbage to tender. When cabbage is done, set aside to cool. When cabbage is cooled, shred in pieces in a baking pan. Napa cabbages 1/2 c. salt 2 medium white radishes, peeled and shredded 1/3 c. red pepper powder 1 T. sugar 2 cloves garlic, finely crushed 2 t. ginger root, finely crushed 5 green onions, sliced Cut the cabbage into 1 1/2" squares. Place the cabbage in a large container and sprinkle with salt. Set aside for 2 or 3 hours or until the cabbage becomes soft. Rinse the pickled cabbage with water once and drain.
