Snacks - Spiced Nuts
2 pounds nuts (walnuts, pecans, almonds, Brazils)1 1/2 cups sugar
2 Tbls. cinnamon
1/4 tea. ground cloves
1/4 tea. nutmeg
2 egg whites, beaten
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
Combine seasonings in a bowl. Coat nuts, a few at a time, with egg white. Drop nuts into seasonings and shake to coat all sides. Place nuts on a greased cookie sheet and bake 30 minutes at 300 degrees. Cool before serving.
