Sauces - Sorta Like Jim's Linguine

1 box linguine noodles
1 (28 oz.) can tomato puree
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
3/4 cup olive oil
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 (4 oz.). jar minced garlic
lots of oregano (to taste)
lots of black pepper (to taste)
salt to taste
red pepper flakes (to taste)


Cook linguine noodles according to package instructions. Meanwhile, combine the remaining ingredients in a bowl and mix well.

Do not heat or cook the sauce. When linguine noodles are done, drain them and pour the sauce over them.

Mix the sauce into the noodles, and serve with extra Parmesan cheese on top.
