Sauces - Seafood - White Sauce For Shrimp

1 cup mayonnaise
1 clove garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dry dried tarragon
1 hard cooked egg, finely chopped
1 teaspoon capers, drained and chopped
1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
1/2 teaspoon anchovy paste
Mix all together


Chill overnight, for flavors to meld. This is excellent mixed with coarsely chopped shrimp, for bowls of shrimp salad.

1 c. yogurt 1 hard-cooked egg, chopped 2 Tbsp. minced celery 1 Tbsp. and 1 tsp. mayonnaise 2 tsp. dill pickle relish 2 tsp. drained capers 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce salt and freshly ground pepper to taste In small bowl, mix all ingredients. Serve 1/4 cup of the sauce with each serving of crab cakes. Makes 4 servings.
