1 cup dry mustard
3/4 cup water


Mix ingredients in a small bowl.Transfer to a jar with a tight-fitting lid.Age in a cool dark place for 2 weeks.Refrigerate.

Chinese Brown Gravy/Sauce 1 quart water 2 tablespoons vegetarian 'beef' bouillon powder 1 tablespoon oil 1 small onion, peeled and finely chopped 2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced 1/4 teaspoon minced fresh ginger 1 teaspoon sugar 1 Tbs soy sauce 4 tsps cornstarch 2 Tbs water Mix cornstarch and 2 tablespoons water; set aside. Put oil in a heavy saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and stir-fry until it becomes golden. Add garlic and ginger
