Sandwiches - Cheese - Garlic Cheese

8 slices French bread
2 tablespoons margarine or butter
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup shredded jack cheese


Combine cheeses. Spread bread with margarine or butter. Sprinkle with garlic powder. Place under broiler until toasted. Cover toast with cheeses and place under broiler until bubbly.

2 slices bread 5 tablespoons olive oil 1/2 pound feta cheese 1 large tomato 2 teaspoons oregano - finely chopped freshly ground black pepper Brush 1 side of bread slice with some oil. Place under broiler until bread starts to toast. Cut enough 1/4-inch-thick slices from feta to cover 2 slices of bread and cut tomato into 1/4-inch-thick slices. Put a slice of tomato on each slice of bread. Sprinkle with oregano, pepper, and salt. Cover with feta cheese. Place under broiler until cheese starts to bubble.

1 Envelope Good Seasons® dry Italian dressingrye or pumpertnickel breadsliced, unpeeled cucumberthinly sliced red onion, separated into rings In small bowl mix cream cheese with dressing mix. Spread generously on rye or pumpernickle bread. Top with lots of thinly sliced unpeeled cukes and some thinly sliced red onions, separated into rings. Note: This also makes good appetizers on party rye - one medium thickness cuke per open face snack. Black olives are good on this too.
