1 cup celery, diced
1 cup Granny Smith apple, diced
1 cup red seedless grapes, halved
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

2 c. diced apples 1 c. of chopped celery 1/2 c. chopped walnuts 1/4 c. real mayonnaise 1 T. sugar 1/2 tsp. lemon juice dash salt 1/2 c. heavy cream, whipped Combine apple, celery and nuts in bowl. Blend sugar, mayonnaise, lemon juice and salt. Fold into whipped cream. Fold this mixture into salad, chill. Serves 6. Variations: add 1 c. seedless grapes and 1/2 c. chopped Asian pears - double dressing recipe. Add 1 can chopped water chestnuts. Add 1 c. colored miniature marshmallows. Serves about 6. For a luncheon main dish add a cup or two of diced

1 large ripe cantaloupe 1 small honeydew melon (optional) 1/2 small watermelon 1 pint blueberries 1 pint raspberries or strawberries 1 orange 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar 1/4 cup finely chopped candied ginger Peel, seed and cut melons into 1-inch pieces. Place them in a large bowl and stir in berries. (If using raspberries, add just before serving to avoid mushiness.) Grate peel from orange and squeeze out juice. Stir peel with juice and pour over fruit. Sprinkle salad with sugar and ginger and fold in. Cover and refrigerate until chilled, about 3 hours, or for up to 12 hours before serving.
