Salads And Dressings - Slaw - Coconut Pineapple Slaw

1 c. shredded cabbage
1 c. shredded carrot
1 (9 oz.) can drained crushed pineapple
1/4 c. broken nut meats
1/4 c. flaked coconut
1/4 c. mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar


Combine all ingredients; toss lightly. Serve at once. Makes 4 to 6 servings.

Coleslaw 1 cup sugar 1 cup oil 1 cup vinegar 1 tsp. mustard seed 1 tsp. celery seed 1 tsp. salt 1/2 red onion, diced 1 green pepper, diced 3 1/2 quarts shredded cabbage Mix sugar, oil and vinegar in a saucepan.
