Salads And Dressings - Hot Bacon Dressing

6 slices bacon, diced
1/2 Cup sliced green onions
6 Tbls. brown sugar
3 Tbls. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
Dash of paprika


Cook bacon until crisp. Drain all but about 2 tbls. of grease from pan. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to boiling and remove from heat.

6 slices bacon 2 tbsp bacon fat 1/4 c sugar 1 1/2 tbsp flour 1/2 tsp salt 1 c milk 1 egg, beaten 1/4 c vinegar Fry bacon; drain and crumble. Reserve 2 tbsp fat and put in a skillet. Stir in sugar, flour and salt. Remove from heat and gradually stir in milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Blend a small amount into the egg, then return to pan. Cook 1 minute. Stir in vinegar and bacon. Serve.

1 tsp. paprika 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 cup liquid honey 3 tbsp. lemon juice 1/4 cup vinegar 1 cup salad oil 1/2 tsp. celery salt Mix the dry ingredients together. Add the honey, lemon juice, and vinegar. Slowly add the salad oil, beating until well blended.
