5 c. cooked apples
5 c. sugar
1 - 4 oz pkg. raspberry jello


Mix apples, jello and sugar together. Cook 20 minutes after it starts boiling (medium heat).

8 apples - peeled, cored and chopped 4 cups white sugar 3 tablespoons rum 4 teaspoons ground cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves 1/4 teaspoon salt Fill a slow cooker with diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, cloves and salt. Cover, and cook on high for 1 hour. Reduce heat. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 12 hours, or until thick and dark golden in color. Fill small jars with hot apple butter, leaving about 3/4 inch space at the top.

3 cups cooked, mashed, or canned pumpkin 2 cups sugar 1/2 t ground cinnamon 1/4 t ground cloves 1/2 t lemon juice Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan; stir well. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes until mixture is smooth and thickened. Quickly pour pumpkin butter mixture into hot, sterilized jars, filling to 1/4 inch from top. Wipe jar rims clean. Cover at once with metal lids and screw-on bands. Process in a boiling water bath 15 minutes. Yield:4 half pints.
