Poultry - Monte Cristo Sandwiches By Joy

8 ounces turkey -- sliced
12 slices white bread -- buttered
8 ounces ham -- sliced
4 ounces American cheese -- sliced
8 egg -- lightly beaten
6 ounces butter

Preheat oven to 350° F.

Place 1/4 sliced turkey on top of one slice of buttered bread. On another slice, put 1/4 sliced ham and 1/4 cheese. Stack ham and cheese layer on top of turkey layer. Place last slice of bread on top. (Bread on top, middle and bottom.) Repeat.

Cut crust off and cut in half. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate.

Dip sandwiches into beaten eggs.

Melt butter on griddle. Saute until browned. Bake 10 minutes at 350.
