Poultry - Chicken Pot Pie By Toni

1 (16 oz) can mixed vegetables, drained
1/2 c milk
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 c cooked diced chicken


Preheat oven to 375° F.

Place one pie crust in pie plate. Save other crust.

Mix remaining ingredients.

Pour into crust in pan.

Cover withother crust.

Bake at 375 for 40 minutes.

1 Pillsbury® pie crust (Red box) 1/3 cup margarine 1/3 cup flour Onion powder to taste 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 3/4 cup canned chicken broth 2/3 cup milk 1 cup shredded potatoes 1 cup shredded carrots 2 cups cut-up chicken 1 (8 oz) can petite peas You may use any kind of chicken for this, a whole chicken, or breast fillets. Boil chicken till done and then, de-bone. Preheat oven to 425° F.Heat margarine over low heat, add flour, salt, onion powder, and pepper. Cook till smooth and bubbly. Take off heat. Whisk in chicken broth and milk.
