Poultry - Chicken Crockpot - Roast Chicken

1 (4 lb.) roaster chicken
3 tsp. Penzey's Old World Seasoning Blend -- or more
16 baby carrots
2 onions -- quartered

Place onions and carrots in crockpot. Heat a cast-iron pan until hot, on medium-high heat. While waiting for pan to preheat, wash and dry chicken. Sprinkle with Old World Seasoning Blend from Penzey's. Rub it in. Sear chicken until nice and brown on both sides, about 10 minutes all together.
When all brown, place on top of vegetables in crockpot. Turn on LOW and cook for 5-6 hours until you get the internal temperature of 180°F.

Serve with potato kugel for the holiday.

3 boneless skinless chicken breast halves 1 bottle Seven Seas® Robust Italian Dressing 1 lb bag egg noodles 4 oz sour cream -- divided 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Place chicken breasts in crockpot. Pour dressing over them. Cover and cook on LOW 7 hours or on HI 3-1/2 hours.* Remove chicken from c/p and leave turned on. Add 1/2 the sour cream and stir until dissolved. Cook noodles separately and drain. Add remaining sour cream and the Parmesan cheese to noodles and mix until dissolved. Serve chicken over the noodles. Pour warm Italian dressing sauce over top. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese,

Poultry - Orange Cinnamon Chicken
3-4 lbs (more or less) chicken pieces 1/4 lb butter 1 cup chicken stock 2 cups orange juice 1 cup raisins (I like sultanas better) 1/4 tsp cinnamon 1 Tbs flour salt and pepper to taste Heat butter in a large skillet, and brown chicken. Remove chicken to cooker as they brown. Combine all other ingredients, except flour, in skillet. Mix well and pour over chicken. Cover pot, turn on low and cook 4-6 hrs, or until chicken is tender.
