Pies - Sweetheart Fudge Pie

1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3 large eggs
2 cups (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate morsels, melted
2 teaspoons instant coffee granules
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts or pecans
1 unbaked Basic Pastry shell

Preheat oven to 375° F.

Beat butter and brown sugar at medium speed with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each addition. Stir in melted chocolate, coffee granules, and vanilla. Stir in flour and walnuts.

Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 375° for 25 minutes; cool completely. Chill.

1 cup sugar 1 cup Karo corn syrup 4 eggs 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted and cooled 1 cup chopped pecans 3/4 cup chocolate chips 1 tsp. vanilla extract 2 Tbsp. bourbon 1 (9") unbaked pie shell Preheat oven to 350° F.Combine sugar, syrup and eggs in a small mixing bowl. Beat at low speed until well blended. Stir in next five (5) ingredients. Pour filling into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350* for 45 minutes or until set. Yield -- 6-8 servings.
