Pies - Fudge Pie

3/4 cup butter
3 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
1-1/2 cups sugar
3 eggs, well-beaten
3/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup pecans, chopped (if desired)


Preheat oven to 350 °F. Melt butter and chocolate in pie pan in oven.

Combine other ingredients, then pour into pie pan. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes.

1/2 cup butter or margarine 3 Tbl. cocoa 3/4 cup hot water 2 cups sugar 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1/8 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1 (5 oz) can evaporated milk 1 cup pecans 1 deep-dish pie crust shell Preheat oven and cookie sheet to 350° F.
