Mixes - Instant Cocoa Mix

12 cups powdered milk
1 (1 lb.) canister chocolate milk mix (Quick, Hershey, etc.)
1 (22 oz.) jar non-dairy creamer
2-2 1/2 cups powdered sugar


Mix and store in an air tight container. 1/4 cup of mix to every 8 oz. of hot water.

1/4 Cup orange peel 1/4 Cup lemon peel 2 Tbl. Gernadine Syrup 3 sticks cinnamon 2 whole nutmegs, crushed or 2 Tbl. ground nutmeg 6 whole cloves 1/2 tsp. cardamom 3 Tbl. brown sugar Mix all ingredients together and store in an airtight tin or a tightly covered glass jar. To Use: Measure 2 Tbl. of mix for every cup of apple cider or wine. Place mix and liquid in a pan and simmer gently for 10 minutes. Strain and serve. 2 c. nondairy coffee creamer 1 1/2 c. sugar 3/4 c. cocoa 1/2 c. instant nonfat dry milk powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. boiling water marshmallows or whipped cream (optional) Combine nondairy coffee creamer, sugar, cocoa, instant nonfat dry milk powder and salt in a large bowl and mix well. Store mix in an airtight container. To serve, place 2 table- spoons mix in a cup. Add 1 cup boiling water and stir well. Top with a marshmallow or whipped cream, if desired. Yields about 36 servings.
