12 cup sifted flour
6 tb baking powder
6 ts salt
3 cup shortening


Sift dry ingredients together 3 times; cut in the shortening; stir and mix until you have a granular texture, like cornmeal; put mixture in glass jars and cover lightly.

Makes about 4 quarts.

10 cups all-purpose flour 3 teaspoons cream of tartar 1.5 teaspoons baking soda 2.5 cups vegetable shortening 1.5 tablespoons baking powder 1.75 cups powdered milk In a large bowl, sift together all dry ingredients.
