Mexican And Hispanic - Appetizer - Cheese And Chile Beef Dip

2 (11 oz.) pkgs. Stouffers creamed chipped beef, defrosted
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup and 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chiles
2 tbl. chopped onion
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder


Combine cream cheese, 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, green chiles, onion and garlic powder. Stir in creamed chipped beef. Place dip in a baking dish, and top with 1/4 cup cheddar cheese. Bake 20-25 minutes or until dip is bubbly and cheese topping is melted.

1 lb. lean ground beef 1 cup chopped onions 1 can chili without beans 1 can Rotel -- undrained 1 lb. Velveeta -- in cubes 2 pkgs. cream cheese -- (8-oz.) softened Salt -- pepper to taste 2 tablespoons chili powder Brown the beef and onions in skillet. Drain grease. Add chili and seasonings. Stir in Velveeta and cream cheese till smooth and well blended. Serve in chafing dish with tortilla chips.

One package flour tortillas oil for frying 1 can refried beans 1/2 pkg. taco seasoning shredded Monterey Jack cheese Guacamole Let tortillas come to room temperature. Cut into quarters with scissors. Fry tortillas in 1/2 inch of oil (at about 375 degrees) until crisp. Remove and drain on absorbent paper. Stir 1/2 pkg. of taco seasoning into refried beans, and heat in a saucepan. Place tortilla crisps on a baking sheet. Spread 1 tblsp. of beans on each tortilla, then sprinkle 1-2 tblps. cheese over each. Place under broiler and broil three inches from heat just until cheese melt, about 1
