Marinades - Beef - Beef Filet Marinade

4 scallion -- coarsely chopped
3 large garlic clove -- crushed
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons sake or dry sherry
2 tablespoons sugar
freshly ground black pepper


Mix ingredients together and marinate for 1 hour before grilling. You can marinate the filets whole or cut in cubes and marinate with various vegetables to do as shish kebobs.

2 tsp. Lowery Seasons salt 1 TBSP. pepper 1 TBSP. Accent 1 TBSP. Soy Sauce Rub meat with mixture and broil for 7 minutes flip and broil other side for approx. 7 minutes. Cover and cook @ 350 for 30-40 minutes depending on the weight. Take meat out at 35 minutes and make a small slice in the center to taste . You may also take it out when it is not quite ready, wrap it tightly in foil and place in a small cooler or microwave. It will continue to cook.

1/2 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup ketchup or balsamic vinegar juice of 1 lemon 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 4 scallions, chopped 1 large clove garlic, sliced pepper to taste Combine the soy sauce, ketchup, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, scallions garlic and pepper in a bowl and mix well. Marinate meat (London Broil) from 2 to 12 hours.
