Hawaiian - Hawaiian Hamburgers
1 pound hamburger, 450 grams1 cup evaporated milk, 250 ml (no substitutes)
1 cup fine bread crumbs, 250 ml
1/2 cup brown sugar, 125 ml
2 tablespoons vinegar, 30 ml
1 can diced pineapple juice included (19 oz)
1 tablespoon each Worcestershire sauce, light salt soy sauce, mustard and plum sauce, 15 ml
1 cup water, 250 ml
1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed in approximately 1/2 cup water, 15 ml in 125 ml
In a large bowl mix hamburger, bread crumbs and evaporated milk. Form into 4 patties and cook in style you prefer (fried, grilled or broiled).
While meat is cooking make sauce by placing next seven ingredients plus water in a medium sized saucepan over medium heat stirring constantly for about five minutes. Add cornstarch and cook until sauce is thickened Stir constantly so lumps don't form and pour over hamburgers served on a bed of steamed white rice.

Grill marinated tri tip until desired doneness. Serve tri tip over a bed of mashed potatoes. Garnish with vegetable stir fry.

1 1/2 lbs tri tip steak 1/2 Tbs sea salt 1/2 Tbs cracked black peppercorns 1 Tbs garlic, minced 1 Tbs ginger, grated 1 Tbs shoyu white pepper 1 Tbs brown sugar Marinate meat in above ingredients for 30 to 45 minutes. 1 medium Maui onion 1 medium tomato 3/4 cup teriyaki sauce white pepper pepper flakes Pan fry above onion mixture in a wok until done. Cake: 2 cups all-purpose flour 2 cups sugar 2 teaspoons soda 2 large eggs 1/2 stick margarine, melted 20 oz. can crushed pineapple with the juice 1 cup chopped pecans Mix all the ingrediants together. Pour into a greased 9X13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes (until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean). Frosting: Cream together: 1 stick margarine 1 large package cream cheese 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 1/2 - 2 cups powdered sugar Spread on the warm cake.
