Fruit - Strawberry-watermelon Lemonade

6 pounds watermelon (seeded and cut in chunks)
2 pints strawberries (washed and hulled)
1/2 cup sugar
12 ounces frozen lemonade concentrate -- thawed
3/4 cup fresh lemon juice


Puree the watermelon in food processor in batches until smooth. Strain through a sieve into a large bowl or gallon pitcher. Process strawberries with sugar until smooth. Add strawberry puree, lemonade concentrate and lemon juice to watermelon juice. Refrigerate.

Makes 12 8-ounce servings

NOTES : ~This fruity lemonade will quench your thirst and please the eye. It will travel well in a thermos or Mason jar. Adults may add up to 2 cups vodka, if desired.

1 package strawberry Jello -- (3 ounce) 1 package raspberry Jello -- (3 ounce) 2 cups boiling water 1 cup frozen sweetened sliced strawberries (10-oz.) 1/2 cup cold water 1 cup crushed pineapple and syrup (8-1/4 oz.) 1/3 cup flaked coconut 2/3 cup Carnation undiluted evaporated milk Dissolve both Jello's in boiling water in medium bowl. Place frozen strawberries in dissolved jello. Break up strawberries with a fork; stir till thawed. Stir in cold water and pineapple. Chill until the consistency of unbeaten egg whites. Add coconut and milk; mix well. Pour into a 5-cup mold. Chill at least 4 hours.

1 pkg yellow cake mix 1 pkg. strawberry Jello app 2-3 cups rhubarb, cleaned and cubed 1 cup sugar 1 cup miniature marshmallows In large oblong baking dish, sprayed with Pam, layer rhubarb, sprinkle with sugar then Jello and top with marshmallows. Mix cake according to pkg. directions and pour over top of other ingredients. Bake according to directions for your size pan. Can be served from pan or when cooled for 3-5 min turned up-side down. Great hot with ice cream or just by itself.
