Fruit - Strawberry - Jello Pretzel Salad

9 ounces pretzels
3/4 cup butter melted
4 tablespoons sugar
8 ounces cream cheese
2 cups Cool Whip
1 cup sugar
6 ounces raspberry Jello
2 cups hot water
1 package frozen strawberries with syrup

Mix together broken up pretzels, butter and sugar. Put in a 13x9x2 pan spreading evenly. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool completely.

Cream together cream cheese and sugar. Stir in Cool Whip. Pour over cooled crust sealing edges.

Mix together hot water and Jello until Jello is dissolved. Stir in thawed strawberries. Pour over cream cheese mixture in pan. Chill until jello jells, approx. 2-3 hour.

Can use strawberry Jello instead.

Tangy Poppy Seed Dressing (below) 6 cups bite-size pieces mixed salad greens 1/2 pint strawberries, sliced (1 cup) 3/4 cup 1x1/4-inch pieces peeled jicama 2 kiwifruit, peeled, cut lengthwise in half and sliced Make Tangy Poppy Seed Dressing. Toss dressing and remaining ingredients. Tangy Poppy Seed Dressing: 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 2 tablespoons honey 2 tablespoons orange juice 1 tablespoon seasoned rice vinegar 1 teaspoon poppy seed 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard Shake all ingredients in tightly covered container.

Crust:2 1/2 Cups Pretzels, coarsely crushed 1 1/2 Sticks Butter 3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar Filling:1 (8 ounce) Package Cream Cheese 1 Cup Sugar 1 small Cool Whip Top:1 large Package Strawberry Jell-O 2 Cups boiling juice from strawberries or 1 Cup water and 1 Cup juice 1 pint Strawberries, fresh or frozen Combine pretzels, butter and brown sugar; press into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.Mix filling and spread over cooled crust. Mix top ingredients and set until slightly thickened, pour over cream cheese mixture and chill.
