Fruit - Strawberry - Easter Strawberry Marshmallow Supreme

1 9 inch graham cracker pie shell
1 c Milk, scalded
12 Marshmallows, chopped
1 c Thick cream
1/2 c Chopped nuts
2 c Crushed strawberries, drained


To scalded milk, add marshmallow pieces. Let cool to lukewarm. Whip the cream and blend into milk-marshmallow mixture. Fold in nuts and berries. Pour into pie shell and chill 8-12 hours.

1 1/2 cup sifted flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 2 tablespoons sugar 1 egg, well beaten 2/3 cup milk 24 large strawberries with stems attached. Vegetable oil Sherry sauce (recipe below)Sift dry ingredients and add well beaten egg and milk. Batter should be just thick enough to coat berries. If too thin, add more flour; if too thick, add more milk. Dip strawberries in batter, and deep fry in hot oil (375°F), 2 to 3 minutes, until brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve strawberries immediately with Sherry Sauce. Sherry Sauce:1 cup sifted powdered sugar 1/3 cup water
