Fruit - Pineapple Rice Cream Salad

1 1/2 cup cooked rice
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1 pkg. ( 3 oz.) lemon Jello
1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
1 cup whipping cream, whipped

Cook rice according to directions on package. After cooking and while rice is still hot add the marshmallows, sugar, salt and vanilla. Mix in powdered Jello and let stand till thickened. Fold in pineapple and whipped cream. Refrigerate overnight.

2 tablespoons butter 1 No. 2 1/2 can (1 lb 13 ounces or 3 1/2 cups) crushed pineapple 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar 3/4 cup sifted flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 4 egg whites 1/2 cup sugar 4 egg yolks 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla 1/4 cup sugar Pineapple Fluff topping (recipe below)Confectioners' sugarPreheat oven to 375 degrees F.Melt 2 tablespoons butter in jelly roll pan. Drain pineapple thoroughly, reserving 1 cup of juice for Pineapple Fluff topping. Spread fruit evenly in pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup brown sugar. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.

1/2 cup uncooked brown rice, regular or quick-cooking 1 cup water 1 (4-ounce) can crushed pineapple in its own juice If using regular brown rice, combine rice and water in medium saucepan. Bring to boil and lower heat to simmer. Cover with tight lid and simmer 35 minutes. Add pineapple and its juice, cover again and continue to cook over low heat about 10 or more minutes. If using quick-cooking brown rice, combine all ingredients in saucepan and follow package cooking instructions. To prepare in microwave, combine regular rice and water in deep 1 1/2-quart container and cover loosely. Cook on
