Fruit - Mixed Fruit - Red Berry Kissel

2 cups Concord grape juice
1/4 cup sugar - or to taste
3 tablespoons potato starch or cornstarch in 1/2 cup grape juice
1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
3 cups fresh or 12 ounces frozen raspberries
1 teaspoon vanilla

Combine the juice and sugar in a saucepan. Pour the dissolved potato starch mixture into the saucepan and slowly bring it to a simmer on medium-high heat, about 10 minutes. As soon as it begins to simmer, stir for about 5 minutes, until the cloudy juice becomes clear. Stir in the strawberries and raspberries and remove from the heat. Stir in the vanilla. Refrigerate at least 20 minutes.

Serve chilled.

Pastry for 2 crust 9 inch pie, unbaked 1 cup sugar 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 cups diced rhubarb 1 pint strawberries, hulled 2 tablespoon butter Preheat oven to 425 degrees.Roll a little more than half of the pastry 1/8 inch thick and line 9 inch pie pan. Mix sugar, flour and salt and sprinkle a small amount in pastry-lined pan. Combine remaining sugar mixture with rhubarb and berries. Put in pie pan and dot with butter. Roll remaining pastry 1/8 inch thick. Put on pie, trim edges and flute. Cut a few slits for steam to escape.

6 ounces box raspberry Jello 1 cup boiling water 21 ounces raspberry pie filling 20 ounces crushed pineapple, undrained In a bowl stir together two 3-oz packages of Jello and boiling water until Jello dissolves. Stir in pie filling and undrained pineapple. Cover and chill until jells.
