Fruit - Cranberry - Cranberry Sauce By Gail1935

1 1/2 C sugar
3/4 C water
3 whole cloves
3 whole allspice
2 (3 inch) cinnamon sticks
1 (12 oz.) bag fresh cranberries
Zest of 1 orange


Bring water, sugar, cloves, allspice and cinnamon to a boil in 4-quart saucepan. Cook, stirring,
until syrup is clear, about 3 minutes. Add cranberries and cook just until they begin to pop,
about 5 minutes.

2 Cups fresh cranberries 1 Cup sugar 1/4 Cup apple brandy Preheat oven to 275 degrees F. Mix ingredients well in a pyrex dish, cook in oven for an hour and a half. Stir every 20 minutes or so. Keep in tight container in the fridge. It mellows with age.

1 cup water 1 cup sugar 12 oz. package fresh cranberries 2 tbsp. chopped canned jalapenos 1 tsp. lime juice 1 tsp. dried cilantro 1 tsp. cumin 1 green onion, white and green parts sliced Combine water and sugar, bring to boil over medium heat. Add berries and bring back to the boil. Gently boil for about 10 minutes without stirring. Pour into a glass bowl and add remaining ingredients. Stir gently. Put plastic wrap directly on salsa. Cool to room temp, then refrigerate. Best served at room temp.
