Fruit - Cranberry Cranberry Chutney Recipes

2 cans whole berry cranberry sauce
1 c. golden raisins
8 oz. chopped dates
1/2 to 3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. cider vinegar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. allspice

Combine all ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes. Put
in sterilized jars. Delicious with curry, pork or turkey. May be frozen.

Cranberry Chutney

1 c. sugar
1 c. water
2 c. cranberries

Heat all together and boil 10 minutes until cooked down.
Cranberries will pop open. Add:

1/2 c. raisins
1/4 c. slivered almonds
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. cider vinegar

1 cup chopped Granny Smith apple 1 cup raisins 1 cup chopped onion 1 cup sugar 1 cup white vinegar 3/4 cup chopped celery 3/4 cup water 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon 1-1/2 teaspoons ground ginger 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves 1 (12-ounce) bag fresh or frozen cranberries Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes or until slightly thick, stirring occasionally. Serve with turkey, chicken, roast pork, or ham. Yield: 4 cups (serving size: 1/4 cup). Note: Refrigerate remaining chutney.

4 cups cleaned cranberries, coarsely chopped 4 cups sugar 2 cups dried sweet cherries, coarsely chopped 1 cup chopped pecans 1 orange 1 cup seedless raisins 2 cups water 1 pouch liquid pectin Prepare home canning jars and lids according to manufacturer's instructions. Cut up orange, remove seeds and finely chop or grind in a food processor or blender. Combine cranberries, cherries, orange and water in a large (six to eight quart) sauce pot. Simmer over medium heat 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add sugar, pecans and raisins and bring to a full, rolling boil. Boil hard one minute, stirring frequently. Remove
