Fruit - Cranberry - Apple Brandied Cranberry Sauce

2 C fresh cranberries
1 c sugar
1/4 c Apple Brandy (Calvados), or Apple jack if you can not find


Put into a glass baking dish, and bake in a preheated 275 degree oven, stir every so often. Make sure you cover with foil too. Bake for approx 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours. It is best to make up to 6 weeks early. It mellows as it ages, and gets better, and better.

1 pkg. (12 oz.) fresh cranberries 1/3 cup water 9 whole cloves 9 whole allspice 1 1/2 stick cinnamon, broken into pieces 1/8 tsp. 2-1/2 cups vanilla ice cream 1/4 cup cherry pie filling 1/4 cup milk 2 tbsp. Magic Shell Chocolate Topping Combine all of the ingredients in the blender and blend for 30 seconds on medium speed. Stop the blender to stir the mixture with a spoon; repeat until well mixed. Serve immediately, or for a thicker treat, place the filled cups in the freezer for 10 minutes or until they reach the desired consistency. Yield: 2 8-ounce cups.
