Fruit - Caramel Apple Dessert

8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 (8 ounce) container non-dairy whipped topping
3 cups chopped Granny Smith and Golden Delicious apples
1 cup chopped pecans


Beat cream cheese, brown sugar and vanilla until smooth. Fold in whipped topping; add apples and pecans. Place in refrigerator until cold.

Can be served as is as a dessert in a pretty serving dish or over angel food cake.

6 large apples, unpeeled, cored and diced1/2 c. sugar 1/4 c. water 1 c. brown sugar 1 c. flour 1/2 stick oleo Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.Place apple chunks in a 9" pie pan.Dissolve sugar in water and pour over apples. Mix brown sugar, flour and butter or oleo. Sprinkle over apples. Bake for 1 hour.
