Fruit - Blueberry - Blueberry Tart

1/2 cup butter
3 tablespoons sugar
1 1/3 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt

2 pints fresh blueberries
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup water
1 1/2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons butter

3/4 cup whipping cream -- whipped

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

To Prepare Crust: With fork or pastry blender, combine butter and sugar till blended. Add flour and salt. With pastry blender cut together to form crumbly dough. Press into bottom and up sides of a 9 inch or 10 inch bottomless tart pan. Prick bottom and sides of crust with fork. Bake 12 to 15 mins or till light brown. cool in pan.

To Prepare Filling: Wash berries. Place 1 cup of berries in a small saucepan with 3/4 cup sugar, cornstarch, salt, and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly till thick and clear. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and butter. Cool. Fold in remaining berries. Mound into the cooled crust and chill at least 1 hour.

To serve: remove tart from pan and set on serving plate. Pile whipped cream in the center, leaving the outside rim of filling exposed and cut into wedges.

1 butter recipe cake mix 1 can blueberry pie filling, chilled 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese 1/2 cup powdered sugar 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1 large container Cool Whip, thawed Bake cake in two 9" round pans according to package directions. When baked and cooled, cut each layer in half horizontally to make 4 layers. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar and granulated sugar and gradually add Cool Whip. Take one cake layer and turn cut side up on plate. Top with cream cheese mixture and top that with 1/3 of the blueberry pie filling. Repeat with other three layers. Frost

16 slices bread 8 ounces cream cheese 1 pint blueberries, divided 3 cups milk 3 eggs 1/3 cup maple syrup 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 1/2 cups sugar, divided 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg 2 tablespoons cornstarch 1 tablespoon butter Butter a 13x9x2 pan and cut 10 slices of bread into 3/4" cubes. Spread cream cheese over one side of remaining 6 slices and arrange cheese side up in pan. Sprinkle with 1 cup blueberries. Top with bread cubes. Combine next 4 ingredients and 1/4 cup sugar. Pour over bread mixture.Cover and chill overnight. Preheat oven 350 degrees.
