Fruit - Banana Pudding

1 3/4 c. sugar
4 or 4 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 or 2 1/4 c. milk
5 or 6 eggs
4 Tbsp. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
Vanilla wafers - according to taste
Bananas - according to taste

Preheat oven to 300.

In a saucepan, mix sugar, cornstarch and milk and cook until warm. Beat eggs, stir about 3 Tbsp of sugar – cornstarch mixture into eggs, then add eggs to remaining cornstarch mixture and cook, stirring, until thickened. Remove from heat.Add margarine and vanilla and stir until well combined.

Place vanilla wafers and bananas in dish and pour cornstarch mixture over them.

Beat egg whites until very stiff, adding about a teaspoon cream of tartar, 3/4 teaspoon cold water, dash of salt, sugar and a teaspoon of vanilla flavoring. Spread topping on banana pudding and bake until topping is golden

3 egg yolks 2 1/2 c. milk 3/4 c. sugar 4 Tbsp. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 3 to 5 bananas 1 box vanilla wafers Mix 1/2 cup of sugar with flour. Add milk and cook in saucepan or double boiler until mixture begins to thicken. Add 1/4 cup sugar to egg yolks and beat with fork. Gradually add the first mixture to the beaten egg yolks. Return to saucepan and continue cooking for 2 to 3 minutes until mixture is of pudding consistency. Add salt and vanilla extract. Line a flat bottom bowl or pan with one half

2 cups milk 1/4 cup flour 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 egg 1 or 2 bananas Heat milk in a double boiler; in meantime, mix flour and sugar in a separate bowl; mix in egg very well; when milk is hot, pour a small amount into the paste and mix very well, then add the paste mixture back into the milk, stirring constantly on the stove until thoroughly mixed, and heat until thickened. When thick, remove from heat, add a blob of butter and about a half tsp of vanilla and a shake of salt. Slice some bananas into individual bowls
