Fruit - Banana - Banana Pudding By Kayce

1 cup sugar
2 cups milk
1/4 cup flour
4 egg yolks beaten, (put whites in another bowl)
1 Tbsp. vanilla
vanilla wafers
4 bananas


Mix sugar, flour and milk together. Cook over medium heat until slightly thickened, add egg yolks. Cook until thick as you may want (pudding consistancy). Remove from heat, let cool slightly, add vanilla. Make a layer of vanilla wafers in a oven proof bowl,layer of bananas, then layer of pudding mixture. Repeat, ending with mixture on top.

Beat egg whites till peaks form, add about 1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar, and 1 tsp. cream of tarter, a little at a time. Spread meringue over top. Heat in oven long enough for top to slightly brown.
