Fruit - Banana - Banana Pudding By Becky

3 egg yolks
2 1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 to 5 bananas
1 box vanilla wafers

Mix 1/2 cup of sugar with flour. Add milk and cook in saucepan or double boiler until mixture begins to thicken. Add 1/4 cup sugar to egg yolks and beat with fork. Gradually add the first mixture to the beaten egg yolks. Return to saucepan and continue cooking for 2 to 3 minutes until mixture is of pudding consistency. Add salt and vanilla extract.

Line a flat bottom bowl or pan with one half of the sliced bananas. Cover with one half of pudding mixture. Place vanilla wafers over this layer. Add another layer of bananas, pudding and vanilla wafers.
