Fruit - Apple - Apple Salad

3 large McIntosh apples
1/2 c celery, chopped
1/2 c dates, chopped
3 Tb fresh orange juice
1/2 c sour cream
1 Tb mayonnaise
2 Tb sweetened whipped cream
1/2 c pecans, chopped


Wash apples; remove seeds and dice (do not peel).

In a medium-sized bowl, combine apples, celery, dates, and orange juice. Blend well to coat evenly. In a separate bowl, whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, and whipped cream. Pour over apple mixture and blend until thoroughly mixed. Chill for several hours. Add nuts just before serving. Serves: 4.
