Fishandseafood - Shrimp - Shrimp De Jonge

1/8 pound butter, melted
2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 pound fresh shrimp, peeled
white rice, cooked


Melt the butter and add in the garlic and the bread crumbs and stir together. Add in the shrimp and toss together. Fry the shrimp until it is golden brown. Put cooked rice on a plate and pour the shrimp mixture over the bed of cooked rice and serve.

1 pound uncooked medium shrimp 1 (9 oz) pkg fresh tortellini with cheese filling 1/3 cup butter or margarine 1 shallot, minced 2 tbs chopped fresh basil or 2 tesp dried 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Garnish: Fresh basil Peel and devein shrimp, set aside. Cook pasta according to pkg directions, drain and set aside. Melt butter in large skillet over med heat; add shrimp, minced shallot, and basil. Cook about 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Add pasta and cheese. Toss gently and garnish Yield: 4 servings
