oil -- for frying
1 cup all-purpose flour -- unbleached
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1 envelope golden onion soup mix
1 teaspoon baking powder

1 1/2 cups flour 1 pkg. dry yeast 1 egg 1 cup beer (Coors worked) 1/2 cup hot water 1/2 tsp. salt Mix the yeast and flour together. In another bowl beat together the egg, hot water and salt. Add the beer to the egg mixture. Next beat in the flour and yeast. Drop fish into batter and cover thoroughly. Fry in hot oil. Drain on paper towels after removing from oil. This also makes the crumbles that Long John Silvers and Captain D's has.

1 1/3 Cups All Purpose Flour (or self rising if possible) 1 Cup Beer (or as needed) 2 Lg Eggs. 1/4 Tsp Nutmeg. Pinch Sugar. In a medium mixing bowl, combine eggs, flour, nutmeg and sugar, mix until well blended. Add beer slowly, continuing to stir until batter has a smooth consistency. After batter is smooth, let it stand for 1 hour -- To let it rise. Pre-heat oil in deep fryer to cooking temperature. Dip and swirl the food to be deep fried in the batter at least two times to assure proper coating.
