Drinks - Instant Russian Tea

1/2 c. instant tea (unsweetened)
2 c. Tang (orange breakfast drink mix)
2-1/2 c. sugar
2 small pkgs. lemon flavored Kool-Aid
1 tsp. ground cloves
2 tsp. ground cinnamon


Mix well. Store in tightly sealed jar. To serve, put 1-1/2 TBS. mix in a cup and add boiling water. Stir well.

1 cup instant tea granules 1 small package presweeted lemonade mix (like koolaide) 2 cups sugar 1 (9 oz.) jar Tang® (powdered orange drink) 1/2 tsp. ground cloves 1/2 tsp. ground allspice, opt 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon Combine all ingredients and mix well. Store in an airtight container. For each serving, add 2 teaspoonfuls to a cup of water, either cold or boiling, and stir. Makes approximately 40 cups.

2 cups water 3 inches stick cinnamon 1/2 tsp. whole cloves 3 tea bags 3/4 cup sugar 3 cups pineapple juice 3 cups orange juice 1/4 cup lemon juice In medium saucepan combine water, cinnamon and cloves. Bring to boil, reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat add tea bags. Let steep for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and spices. Stir in sugar and juices. Cover and chill thoroughly. Serve over ice. Makes 8 - 8 oz. servings.
