Drinks - Fruit - Hot Spiced Apple Drink

2 cups apple juice
2 cinnamon sticks
5 whole cloves
2 cardamon pods
1/2 tsp ginger


Put all ingredients in a pot, bring into boil and let simmer a small while. Meanwhile, put a tablespoon of raisins and almond slices into two mugs - adults may wish to have 2 cc. rum in their mugs as well - and pour the hot drink in the mugs through a sieve.
