Drinks - Fruit - Fruit Slush

2/3 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
1 can orange juice concentrate -- (6 oz.) thawed
1 T. lemon juice
2 cups sliced bananas (about 3)
1 pkg. frozen sliced strawberries in syrup -- (10 oz.) thawed
1 can pineapple tidbits (juice pack) -- (8 oz.) UNDRAINED
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1 can Sprite or 7Up -- (12 oz.)

In a 10-12 cup freezer container combine water and sugar; stirring to dissolve sugar. Stir in orange juice concentrate and lemon juice. Stir in sliced bananas, strawberries in syrup, undrained pineapple, and blueberries. Carefully add the Sprite, stirring to combine. Seal container and freeze overnight, stirring after 6 hours.

Before serving, let stand at room temp. for about 1 hour (although it's fine right out of the freezer, too.), breaking it up with a fork as it thaws.

Makes about 8 cups

1 pint of strawberries 1/2 pint of blueberries 2 cups of water 1 cup of granulated sugar 1/4 cup of orange juice Puree fruit in blender of food processor. Heat water and sugar until boiling and sugar has melted. Remove from heat and add orange juice. Let cool slightly and then mix in fruit. Pour in shallow glass cooking pan (or ice trays) and let it set for at least four hours or overnight. Slice into pieces and place in food processor. Process until smooth and creamy. Transfer to freezer storage container and let set 30 minutes before serving. Makes eight

Two (16-ounce) cans crushed pineapple Two (6-ounce) cans mandarin oranges 4 bananas sliced 1 bag or 2 (10 oz.) cartons frozen raspberries 1 can orange juice concentrate 1 can Sprite or similar soft drink Stir all together in a large bowl, juice from cans and all. It can be sweetened with up to 3/4 cups sugar, but we generally like to freeze it and serve it this way. Ladle it into individual plastic party cups and freeze on trays.
