Dips - Avocado And Cheese Dip

2 ripe avocado
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 small onion, grated
1 (3 1/2 oz) package soft cream cheese
salt and freshly ground black pepper
paprika to garnish


Peel avocados, halve, remove stones. Mash with lemon juice. Beat in remaining ingredients. Season to taste, and sprinkle with paprika. Serve as a dip with savoury biscuits, crisps and crudites.

1 ripe avocado (peeled and seeded) 1 medium onion (finely chopped) 1 cup homemade mayonnaise 1/4 tsp. thyme 1/4 tsp. basil 1/4 tsp. rosemary 1/4 tsp. sage 1/4 tsp. marjoram 8 oz. sour cream crackers or chips In a mixing bowl, mash avocado.
